1971 Chrysler Imperial Lebaron. Solid, well sorted driver. Drive it home anywhere. Motor rebuilt to 493" with 4.15" crank, forged rods and pistons, 9.5:1 compression ratio, performer RPM heads, 0.039" quench, runs strong on regular gas, no pinging, no overheating or vapor lock in the southern CA desert. Cam is 231/237* duration, comp nitride hardened, steel 1.6 rockers give ~ 0.560" lift. MP electronic ignition. TTI headers and dual exhaust. A/C deleted. Indy 2d intake and massaged Thermoquad carburetor. 727 transmission rebuilt with upgraded frictions and a transgo TF2 shift kit. 2.76 rear gears, flies effortlessly at 80+ on the freeway. Original 3.23 set available. Firm feel rebuilt steering box and power steering pump. Upgraded 1.25" front sway bar, custom bent for the not really a C-body chassis. Bilstein shocks. Car feels athletic for a barge. No rust, original Nevada / Southern CA car. Repainted in ~2011 in original color with single stage metallic... which came out poorly. I buffed it with a scotchbrite and kept driving it. Vinyl top was removed. Notice the C pillar roof joint filler is cracking from the body flexing. All trim, chrome is intact and in good shape. I have several spare parts, trim parts, included. I have the original wheel covers, fender skirts, etc. The interior is original and in good shape, save for the driver's seat and the headliner is starting to give it up. Upgraded, modern stereo, speakers, subwoofer. I've owned this car 10 years and hauled a lot of kids and gear in it, it can be very useful, comfortable, large car. Thanks for looking.
