1983 Chrysler Imperial - Only 122 in Black - 91kmi - VGC - Absolutely 0 Rust!!

The Beautiful 1983 Chrysler Imperial you see here is in Very Nice Condition for a 33 year old car! This body style was only built for three years starting with the 1981 model and ending with the 1983 model. In 1981 there were 8,113 Imperials built, in 1982, there were 2,717 Imperials built and in the final year there were only 1,555 Imperials built!
Of the 1,555 Imperials that were built in the 1983 model year only 122 or 7.8% of them were Black and 356 of them came with Red leather interior. Unfortunately, there is no way to know exactly how many of the 122 Black Imperials built in 1983 came with the Red leather interior. You can figure on it not being very many at all since there were five other interior choices to be had. Those other choices were Beige leather, Beige cloth, Silver leather, Silver cloth and Blue leather. My personal favorite color combination on any car is Black with a Red interior and I would be willing to bet this Imperial is one of no more than 20 made with this color combo making it an Exceptionally Rare Car!
The body on this Black Beauty is in near mint condition! There has NEVER BEEN ANY RUST AT ALL ON THIS CAR! Also, this car is showing no signs whatsoever that it has ever been in any kind of accident!
The underside of this Imperial has got to be one of the cleanest underbellies of any car out there. It really is that nice! At one time there was some kind of very slight damage to the passenger side of the hood and it has been repaired but you can see where the paint work was done.
In July of '91 this car only had 82,000 miles on it, which means that in the last 24 years or so, she has only been driven about 8,500 miles. It has had various general maintenance things done to it in recent years including a new alternator and battery. The A/C blows cold and all of the gauges and switches work as they should. There is no reason why this car couldn't be driven anywhere and for many more years of dependable service.
I prefer to sell this Imperial outright, but I would consider trades on other Mopar cars and trucks only.
