This is a nice classic car originally restored in the early 60's. The car came out of Michigan where I bought it several years ago with an non operational engine. The engine was removed from the car and rebuilt by me with new standard pistons and rings, no measurable taper in the bores, new timing chain. The valves and seats were ground and the oil pump was disassembled and reconditioned. The crank journals are standard with original inserts and the oil pressure at idle is 30psi and down the road 40 psi. I also went through the distributor, starter and generator. The car has a new battery and tires. The top fabric was replaced and the existing paint polished. The wood on the body is good with no rot or deterioration. Very minor rust on inside of passenger door. The brakes bands are near new and the wheel cylinders and master cylinder were re-sleeved by White Post Restoration. I have driven the car about 200 miles since the engine work was done. I have other projects pending and am anxious to sell this car so I can move on. If you are looking for a nice driver, this car is for you. More pictures on request.
