A few extra notes I love about the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe in general:

• Handling: the way this car handles is so nice. Very intuitive. It grips the pavement and holds on tight in corners. The steering wheel is comfortable and silky smooth, ut tight enough to respond quickly to your every move and make you feel like you're "one" with the car.

• Fun: These cars are an absolute JOY to drive. While I drive like a grandpa most of the time, t still makes an otherwise boring daily commute fun. I've never gotten bored of it. My favorite thing: Usually, hen you're car shopping, ou have to choose between power/muscle and luxury/comfort...rarely can you have both. The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe really does a great job of giving you both.

• "Head-turner Factor": This car is super unique in that it can play the role of both "nice daily driver" and a "head-turning supercar". It just depends who you ask. I'd say 80% of people just think it's a "nice car". The other 20% understand who understand what it really is will come up to you at a gas station and drool over it, ive you a thumbs up and smile on the freeway, ell "LOVE that car!!" out their window at a stoplight, tc.

• Rarity: While the V Sedan will continue to be produced, 'm told that the V Coupe has been discontinued as of this year. Maybe the average Cadillac customer isn't looking for a car with 200mph on the speedometer? :) Because its been discontinued (while also being so highly rated!) this car is likely to become more and more rare and valuable as time goes on. A historic car collector recently advised me to hang onto this car and garage it as a collectible. Maybe that's a good idea but who really knows.

ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC CADILLAC CTS-V COUPE:

• Miles/Age: With only about 43,000 miles on the odometer, his car is still a toddler in car years. The body has very modern edges/lines, nd the beautiful black paint still shines like a mirror, o people are often shocked when I tell them it's a 2011 model. Most guess 2013 or 2014. As for the interior, t's in beautiful condition as well. I am also a non-smoker, nd it wasn't smoked in by the first owner either. The only thing you'll smell in this car is leather.

• Weather Care: As far as I know, his car has never seen snow, ce, nd salt. I can't speak for the car's first owner, ut I do know that the first owner lived in Texas where I purchased the car, nd it doesn't snow very often in Texas. When I bought it and had it shipped to Ohio, only drove it for the summer on nice days. It was garaged all winter and I have always refused to drive it unless the roads are clear. I have another vehicle that is my daily/winter driver.

• Driving: I don't let anyone else drive this car except for the valet parking guys at restaurants. And sometimes I even pay the obligatory $20 to leave the car up front so that they won't drive it either. Also, ou should know that while I may have dreamt about doing it a time or two, have never raced this car. Not on a track, ot from a stoplight, ever. I tell youthis because when you buy a car like this, t's important to get one that's been babied...not one that's been pushed to its limits.

• Tires: I recently had brand new tires put on the car. Brand new Michelin Pilot Sport...definitely not cheap tires. I've driven it less than 500 miles since the tires were replaced.

• Maintenance: I don't play around when it comes to maintenance. I've always taken this car in for oil changes as soon as the screen tells me it needs them. And I make sure they use Mobil 1 only. Which also reminds me...I've never used any fuel except premium. Also, detail this car personally almost every weekend just because it's fun and relaxing for me (wash, ax, acuum, olish aluminum wheels, lean all interior glass, reat leather seats/dash/accents with high-end leather wipes). Obviously this isn't necessary...but like I said, t's fun for me.

• Modifications: I've never modified this car in any way EXCEPT for replacing the boring and unbelievably heavy stock exhaust. I decided on this because the sound of the exhaust that comes stock on these cars is disappointingly dull. After probably 40 hours of obsessive research, decided on Corsa Sport Axle-Back. I spent about $1,400 on this modification (I wanted it installed by a local shop that specializes in exhaust for high-end sports and collector cars). I was nervousabout it atfirst because I'm a businessman and I was afraid it would be obnoxious. But let me tell you...it was worth every penny and as soon as a heard the new system for the first time, knew I had no regrets. Just rev the engine in a parking garage or road tunnel. You'll see what I mean. The sound will actually give you chills.

More on the exhaust: even though it sounds ferocious at full throttle, t is surprisingly sophisticated at idle with nothing but a subtle rumble to remind everyone that this isn't your grandfather's Cadillac. And most importantly, here is pretty much ZERO drone...meaning the cabin is nearly silent at idle. Why this matters: you can take an important client to lunch without looking like an idiot. That's what I love about this car in general: it somehow manages to be both powerful and luxurious at the same time...and without being overly showy.
Also, s I mentioned, he stock exhaust was insanely heavy. I could barely lift it off the garage floor when they took it off. The new Corsa system was almost weightless in comparison (I lifted both out of curiosity). Swapping the exhaust dropped enough weight off the car to cause an instantly noticeable boost in power and agility.
Anyway, nough about exhaust.
CONDITION:
As for the condition of the car, t's in amazing condition. You will notice a tiny little signs of natural wear here and there, f course...but nothing big. Like I said, have babied this car.
There are some barely visible hairline scratches on the black plastic panels around the knobs on the dash. This is literally unavoidable. It doesn't take much to put a hairline scratch on those black plastic panels. Like I said, hey are barely visible...I couldn't even get them to show up in photos.
You should also know that a couple of the aluminum wheels have a little bit of curb rash on them. In other words, here are some scratches at certain places on the rims where the car has been parked a little too close to a curb from time to time. As you can probably tell by now, 'm meticulous about this car, ut this curb rash hasn't bothered me yet enough to spend $200 to polish them up. They still shine like a mirror and most people don't even look close enough to see the scratches, o I've just kept my $200 in my pocket so far. You may want to do the same...up to you. You can see what I mean in the photo of the wheel...the wheel still looks awesome. It's just not 100% perfect, o I wanted you to know.
BOTTOM LINE:
I'm sad to see my baby go, ut it makes me smile to know how much joy you're going to get out of it. Most toys lose their fun-factor once you've had them for a while. Not so with this Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. It will make your daily commute a joy.
