2005 FORD THUNDERBIRD 50TH ANNIVERSARY PREMIUM EDITION

This beautiful Thunderbird was one of the chosen Premium Edition (Cashmere/Stone)to be the last of the 11th Generation Thunderbird to be built on July 1, 005. It was built at the Ford's Wixom Assembly Plant and was based on the DEW98 platform which was shared with the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. The sole engine is a Jaguar-designed AJ-35 V8.

It wasaredesign ofthe legendary T-Bird of 1955 - 1957 which was a dramatic ere of Ford's history with the Thunderbird design. This 05 Cashmere edition is the end result of the rumor in 2003 that Ford would have a Marilyn Monroe special edition. The T-Bird is a powerful heavy car and designed, ot as a sports car but a comfortable boulevard cruiser.

This T-Bird is a collector's car which has been meticulously maintained, et what a pleasure to "cruise" in. The exterior paint is a gorgeous Cashmere tri-coat metallic paint with matching removable hard top with medium light Stone cloth convertible top and soft boot. The interior is coordinated Cashmere, tone and Soft Goldwith Cashmere soft leather seats with the 50th Anniversary embossed on the seat backs. The scuff plates are also tinted in Soft Gold with the steering wheel and shift knob trimmed with high gloss Cashmere accents with Stone colored carpets with matching floor mats. A commemorative plaque is mounted on the inside of the glove box.
