Mexico Blue. No one is completely certain where the color name originated but many believe its related to the astonishing chapter of Porsches racing history in the early 50’s. Its believed both the name “Carrera” and the Mexico Blue color refer to the original Carrera Panamericana races held in Mexico from 1950-1954 where the first Porsche 550 Spyders enjoyed success in Class wins and was a testament to reliability engendered by the Volkswagen ancestry of their cars. Exterior. This Carrera’s factory “Paint to Sample” Mexico Blue body is very clean with no accidents, r known paint work. A pair of 997 Clear markers, nd a rare Cargraphic Carbon Fiber lower front lip in black compliment the 3M clear bra protected nose of the 997. A staggered set of 19” inch Avant Garde Ruger Mesh wheels finish off the stunning exterior.

Interior. The immaculate interior is loaded with options such as the black leather sports seats, port Shifter and the Sport Chrono Package Plus. The factory leather steering wheel was replaced with a GT3 alcantara wheel. Initially the car wasn't built with NAV, M radio, r CD changer but was eventually added by the original owner.

Performance. This 997 has been tastefully modified to extract Supercar performance without hindering the day to day reliability. A VF Engineering VF510 Liquid cooled Supercharger kit was installed to provide 6.5lbs of pressurized air to the 3.8L flat-six. A pair of Fabspeed headers, 00 Cell Stainless Steel cats and the complete Fabspeed Maxflo-exhaust system help expel all the extra exhaust and produce 510BHP. With that much power handling was addressed with a Bilstein PSS10 PASM-compatible coilover system. The factory optional PCCB brakes are the same shared as the Turbo models, nd provide crisp fade free braking power that is good at any speed.

With only 26K original miles, nd with over $45k in receipts for all the performance upgrades along with all the regular maintenance, his cars performance level has been raised above its more expensive counterparts without effecting reliability.
