2000 BMW M5

The e39 M5 has been called the finest sports sedan ever built. With almost 400 normally aspirated horsepower and a silky, ix-speed manual transmission, his car is an absolute joy to drive. Collectors have taken notice and values have begun climbing.

The example for sale here is an extremely rare manual transmission unit that is completely stock. No aftermarket exhaust, o suspension modifications, o audio changes, o engine mods, o short shifter. The car is in the same configuration as when it was delivered. It looks beautiful. No dents or door dings, aint is original and great, nterior is great. I was told by the prior owner that this car spent almost all of its life garaged or covered, practice that I continued, nd it looks it, nside and out. Everything is included – all manuals, ull tool kit, tc. The color is called Silverstone and I looked for a year to find the right condition car with this paint. It is stunning looking. Only the most minor rock and wheel nicks (see pictures).

And it runs beautifully, ight and quiet. The engine runs perfectly, ransmission is smooth, lutch is great, rakes are great, ires are new (installed at BMW dealer this summer). All work on the car was done at BMW dealers, ostly Sandia BMW in Albuquerque. Everything works, ven the items that sometime malfunction on this model: cup holders and display pixels are fine! Ok, o there is one little thing: the passenger window on the driver’s side has to be rolled up using its own switch (the driver’s switch for that window rolls it down, ut not up – you have to reach back to the rear door switch to roll it up) – I didn’t have it fixed only because I never use the rear window and didn’t think about it when the car was in the dealer.

I’ve priced this car fairly and expect to find the right buyer for it over the next few months. I’m advertising this car for sale through several channels including eBay and Autotrader.
