Description

At the start my intention was to build a re-production of my families past work vans, e had 3 in the fleet. So I found a very clean, ust free, traight van and had it sent east. I was able to complete the transformation which also included lettering the vehicleusingtheoriginalstencilswhichI located.
As the way of things, ncluding the economy, y business has sincedissolvedand now I have to sell some things off.
Starting with this rust free van, changed the color to a fair match for the original light blue color that was Dodgeslead work van color in the 1960's.
It has a 318 V-8 with a 3 spd. manual on the tree. The glass is great, he chrome is like new, ll of the windows work, he little moving step is present, and it had passed the PA State Inspection just before it was pulled from use. Also, he Gas tank was replaced with a rust free tank which I had cleaned and sealed,so it should last for many years to come along witha new rubber floor matting.
One last item is the van is equipped with "VINTAGE" 15" American Racing Wheels. These are worth about $150 to $250 a piece and really add to the vans look.
Please ask questions before bidding . . . Thanks and Good Luck ! ! !

I can see that my initial description was somewhat lacking... Sorry
The van is and has been completed for a few years, n as far as reassembly. It was inspected back in MAY OF 2013.
I drove it for 1 summer and with my father death I lost interest as well as aconvenient place to store it.
I accumulated 233 miles before I took it off the road. It has sat in my drive way since, xcept for theoccasional drive around my development.
When it was PA inspected, t needed brakes, heel cylinders, uffler, nd tail pipe. It isprobably a late year 1965 as it has a 318. The undercarriage & frame is as to be expected, oming from desertenvironment. Read into that (no rust). I found a good condition 1964-65, ingle strap, nbsp;gas tank, f which I had cleaned and sealed...!!!
It has no turn signals because they were not required and nobody installed the tacky, fter market signals. It was a radio delete van, ut has a modern after market disc/radio installed. Also an after market 8 track player is present. No idea if it works.
This van does have the "often removed" side step. A complete, on corroded Battery Box.I am looking for more than $5,000, ut think $10,000 might be too much, ou decide....... Sarcasm.
If you think I am dreaming, ell maybe, ut it does not require any body or frame work, t is Complete,Original, odge Steel and this will save you thousands, t least here in the North East, here everything rusts. Also the chrome is all present and almost like new. WOW ! ! !
