Trade-In Philosophy (How We Value Customer Trade-ins)

Richards Motorcars welcome customer trades ! We Value our customers trades in the same manor on how we price our own vehicles. That method is based on Current Wholesale markets (auctions) not Blue book publications. We will be happy to share with you current market value reports showing what your vehicle is worth. If the vehicle your trading has high mileage and in poor condition with a bad history report, n which we cannot retail at our dealership, then obviously we will be more inclined to use a lower auction value. If your trading a low mileage quality vehicle with a Clean Vehicle History that we can re-sell to another client then we will be more than happy to allow you a higher value ! We encourage our customers to research the value of their vehicle prior to contacting our dealership and REMEMBER if you are looking for a RETAIL value for your trade we encourage you to sell it on your own. We are a retail automobile dealer meaning we CANNOT offer you a retail price for your trade.
