I Factory ordered this ZL1 and was sure to include EVERY availableoption (except the chrome gas cap which I didn't care for) Itried to be creative as could as I wanted my Sticker to be unique. Here is the list of options: POWER SUNROOF, AVIGATION, XPOSED CARBON FIBER WEAVE HOOD INSERT, OOTWELL & CUP HOLDER LIGHTING KIT, NTERIOR SUEDEDMICROFIBER PACKAGE, OLID DARK GREY STRIPE, NDOOR VEHICLE COVER, AR COVER RED W/BLACK STRIPES, LOOR MATS ZL1 LOGO PREMIUM CARPETED, ARGO MAT and CARGO NET
But here's whats really unique about this ZL1, E! I am an avid collector of American Muscle Cars and have had several classics restored. Knowing what I do about restoration and what truly makes a collectible valuable is provenance. This had a lot to do with how I went aboutacquiring this Vehicle. When I factory ordered this ZL1 Iimmediately began collecting unusualdocumentation from the Dealer, mean everything possible. I took copies of every single document pertaining to the ordering of this car includinginternal dealer paperwork. I tracked the vehiclethrough the build processand instructed the Dealer that I would be aware of when the car would arrivethere before he would, nd I was. I was there when the carrier arrived. They were instructed to remove the vehicle off the carrier, og it in and surrender the keys to me untouched. Outside of removing the front spring transit blocks and fluid checks they did so. I do not believe a better documented example of this vehicle exists, ew or pre owned
I took the vehicle straight home, hite plastic wrap and all andmethodicallybeganphotographing everything including crayon inspection markings (all still on vehicle) white plastic body wrap (still have all of it), nterior wrappers, arkings, ags, oxes, ecals, ey tags you name it. I have it all. the Sun roof still has the initials of the the final factory inspector "RD" on it. I have never washed the inside of the windshield as the robotic arm suction cup marks are stillvisible. The factory mats are still in their original wrapping. I have the sticker, wo build sheets, ey tags, ow clearance card, nternal dealer paperwork countless info sheets and too many other items to list. This is absolutely the most well documented on ofthese inexistence. I posted pics of what I have at my house and there is plenty more at my warehouse.
This Vehicle is not a driver, t has always been in a heated and air conditioned garage and has never, ver even seen a rain drop. Lowest mileage and Best on eBay, uaranteed!
I have two series of photographs that I have posted. some were taken the day I brought it home and the others were shot today. as you will see there really is no difference except for the nominal mods I did to the car: Tinted the windows, emoved the pick up truck style front and rear bow ties (which of course I have) and replaced them with black billet ones with hand painted red striping and swapped out the nasty chrome tail light bezels with matte black (have chrome originals). 2013 is the last year of the far more stylish classic round tail lights. I also have many more pics, oo many to post. This vehicle is absolutely stunning and if your planning on taking it to the track, ut of the Big three muscle cars, ut handles them all, he Mustang still has a solid rear axle, eally? and the Challenger handles no better then it did in 1970. It also makes a fantastic street/show car.
I am a long time member here with 100% Feedback rating. Have questions, ust ask. Happy to answer. Will be willing to speak with serious buyers.
Note, n the spirit of full disclosure, his vehicle had thefront facia clipped while parked, urely cosmetic. It was extremely minor and being the perfectionist I am, chose to replace it. Repaired bythe very best and guaranteed undetectable. I Welcome inspection prior toacquisition.
