1989 Mustang LX Convertible 5.0 AOD 40,476 Miles

Today I am listing my 1989 Mustang LX CV 5.0 Auto AOD - It is Scarlett Red - Red cloth interior and White CV top. - 40,476 miles as of today. I have had the car for a little over 2 years. The BFG T/A tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The driver’s seat shows some normal ware otherwise the interior is verrry good. (Some new interior belt parts go with it) A new convertible top is definitely needed. In a heavy rain some water gets in on the drivers side.My suggestionis to replace the rubber seals at the same time.I will let the new owner determine if it should be white or black. It uses about 1/3 quart of oil between changes. After a scrape I had the front bumper repainted. It looks like the upper part of the passenger door was repainted but it was that way when bought. Rear bumper needs refinishing. The Scarlett red paint still looks good going down the road and I get lots of thumbs up etc. It looks pretty good for a car that is 25 years old. The front and rear quad suspension was all new 2 years ago. The brakes are very good. Runs great - drives great & fun to drive. Should be ok for cross country trip.
