Description |

I purchased this car as a stock Z06 in early 2012 from a private party. The car was in great condition. I bought it for the sole intent to use it as a track car. I drive HDPE solo intermediate, ith Chin, BOC, nd NASA. The car has been to Sebring, omestead, arber, nd Road Atlanta. Soon as I bought it, he modifications began. I am not a mechanic so all mods were done by professionals. Some of the mods are: Wilwood brakes all around, oil-overs, eats, arnesses, oll bar, am/heads, ual fan race radiator and a bunch of other things. I have been working with the guys at XP Motorsports for the past 2 years, o they know the car very well. You can call and talk to Bob about the car. It has been a long and expensive endeavor. Here is some advice to someone starting out in the track hobby. Start out with a group that has a serious training program. My experience has been that they all have good training programs, ut Chin Motorsport is the most extensive. I would also recommend buying a car that is track ready. Ask others that have been in the sport, ost will agree with me on this. You will save a ton of money and lots of time by going this route. If I had it to do over, hat is what I would have done knowing what I now know. I just completed a complete engine rebuild. After a late spring event we found that one of the cylinders had a cracked ring land. I decided to have the engine completed rebuilt with race components rather than taking the cheaper route by replacing with original factory components. The rebuilt engine dyno’d 423hp at the ground with 424.5 ft-lbs of torque. Since the engine rebuild, had the car at Sebring and ran 3 sessions before we got rained out. The engine and car ran extremely strong. From there the car went back to XP Motorsports for an oil change and inspection. Brake pads and rotors had recently been replaced and have very little use on them. I have 10 wheels with used slicks mounted and balanced. I have a set of street wheels and tires also. I never had an incident with the car, o body is in great shape and looks very nice. If you are not familiar with the track sport, 06 Corvettes are very popular because of their power and dependability. Send me a response with contact info and I can send you more pictures, ulllist of modifications, nd moreinfo. I can also send you most of the work orders and the engine build sheets.
NOTE: I have a lotmore info and pictures. I have scanned and posted most of the work orders, nd put them up at yellowvette.com please check it out.
THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE Z06. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SILVERADO OR THE TRAILER.
