1988 Citroen 2CV Dolly, Rare RHD Totally restored FLORIDA registered car.

Listed here is FREDDIE a rare RHD Citroen 2CV Dolly, irst registered in the UK in 1988 and now registered in the State of Florida. Vin#VF7AZKA00KA293448

I was using this car in the UK this summer and put about 500 laughter filled miles on it with zero issues.

Due to the 25 year rule I thought it would be fun to import it to the USA, nbsp;take in a few local car shows and sell it to someone that could appreciate it for the cult car that it is.

If you Google Citroen 2CV you will come up with a very thorough Wikipedia article. The cars were built up to 1990. Most folks prefer the 1981 through 1990 cars because they still have the famous 2CV charm, ut have the best engines, isc brakes, ood steering and handling, nd have enough power to keep up with modern traffic, n the city at least. On the highway I drive them at 65 MPH.

Fully restored Excellent condition.

One family owned in the UK from new, ully restored over a 5 year period from the brand new galvanized floorpan up. Anything that needed renewing or upgrading was done. Full engine and suspension rebuild, ew interior and roof, ew tires. Starts first time with the electronic ignition and drives exactly as it should with the added bonus that it brings a "smile every mile" plenty of stares, humbs up, aves and horn toots plus questions at stop lights and gas stations. Note this car is not for anyone with a complex!!

Total mileage 94000, pprox 2000 miles and climbing attending car shows around the State since restoration.

The car is fully registered in the State of Florida and I have a clear title in hand.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CAR CANNOT BE REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA OR OREGON except by making huge changes in a CARB lab to comply with US safety standards => only requested in CA & OR (other US states have the 25 years old rule for classic cars, lease check with your DMV to be sure…)

Note:

The car can be registered in Oregon if the person does not live in the Portland or Eugene metro areas that are subject to Department of Environmental Quality regulations. An Oregonian interested in this car should call the DEQ. It might be fine.

New paint, ew brakes,newframe,new roof, ew seats, ew starter, evisedengine, ew gazoline pump, ew alternator, ewwindshield,no rust, yres only 500kms.

Bumpers front and rear are new.Lights and lenses are all in good condition.
