2002 was the last year of production of the Pontiac Trans Am. This coupe in the Collector Edition with black leather interior is a real head turner. Spectacular Collector Edition Only Yellow clearcoat paint looks great over a smooth, amage free F-body.The only blemish in the paint is on the hood where it looks like some clearcoat peeled off. There is a good picture below to see it. The black leather interiors were the only option on the CE. Coupled with the Collector Edition Graphics and the Special Black Wheels, owza! That combination is stunning for sure. Rarity is a claim here with only 510 automatic coupes! When I have an opportunity to market a collector car, his is the kind of thing that I hope for. I just know there is a special collector out there that's trying really hard to find the right collector car for their stable and I sure hope you take a good look at this one. The story of this car and why it's here is another great reason to consider this 2002 Collector Edition Trans Am.

More about the condition?

Well look at the pictures, ll 148 of them and you'll see a car that was cared for and babied even if the mileage isn't in the single digits. This Collector Edition Trans Am is a consignment from some very good friends of mine that I've known for a few years. Their eldest son, ought this car, oured hours and money into it to keep it beautiful and sharp like you see. It was his pride and joy. A super sound system went into it, olishing paint and shining wheels a common weekend deal before he'd take it to car shows and show it off. Then tragedy befell this couple when they lost their son. In memory of their son, hey decided to keep his car as a remembrance of him and keep it as a show piece.

Nearly two years ago, he engine needed a rebuild. The family decided it was worth whatever it took to see it done right and took it to the only dealer that would agree to do a complete rebuild of the engine, bout 10k miles ago. They could not find a local dealer to do the job so they took it nearly 400 miles north to a Chevrolet dealer in Utah and spent almost $11000 on the project. Money was not an object as much as the memory of their son's favorite thing, he car. Engine rebuilt, verybody in the family enjoying the car for the next two years and finally with it starting to become a more permanent garage resident, he family decided that the memory of their son was found more in their hearts than in the car. All that they ask of me was that I don't let it get sold to a local Las Vegas Resident. There are so few of them here in town, hey only knew of two, hat were hoping they would find themselves on the roads of Las Vegas seeing this car at an intersection. Cars are emotional parts of the family circle it seams. So, Bay is the way to go here then.

The first thing I do before I buy any car is look at it's condition then hope for a documented history of good servicing. As you can see from the documented history above, we have a great service history on this car. Note the consistent visits to the Chevrolet dealerships. That is not indicative an owner that doesn't take pride in their vehicle. The two owners of this car always used manufacturer suggested service. Anybody knows that when you take you car to the dealer service department, heir objective is to inform you of any and all issues that your car may have so you can have them serviced. That makes their clients car stay in great shape and makes the dealer more money in service. It's all just part of their inspection programs. I spent years in dealership and even ran a service department. Looking at the history of this car tells me, bought a winner and I know you'll feel the same.

A breathtaking Collector Edition Trans Am with quality and condition rarely seen in an 14-year old car and this T/A shows nicely . . .

T/As have beautiful interiors but the Collector Edition is spectacular. Keeping them beautiful after 14 years with little wear (especially in the bolsters and seats) is a feat. It is just another reminder that the owners of this TA took loving care of their pride and joy. This is my passion, o find cars that were babied by their owners. It's not perfect in there but when you see all the pictures, ou'll agree, t's especially nice.

Usually, ’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, e film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, orking sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, aser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We do.
