This car was originally delivered to an American Doctor living in Alcante Spain. He then imported the car to Texas where it was registered on 6/22/1961. ( See photo of original Texas registration). Car spent its entire life in Texas until we bought the car in 2014. Car has just completed a comprehensive nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. Here is a summary of the restoration.:Paint process. Car is completely disassemble, hrome, oor, ood, runk and glass removed. Engine, rannsmission, ll running gear removed, nbsp;and put on the rotisserie. We painted this car to its original Black ( # G 040, sing correct Glasurit paint and Glasurit clear. All chrome is renewed, ll new rubber seals and gaskets.Engine: Engine is removed, ully disassembled, ylinder head rebuilt by Metric Motors. Correct Solex carbs rebuilt. All new hoses, lamps, ilters, luids, eater components, ebuild radiator, nbsp;new wiring,new water pump, ew tune up parts.Interior: All new Roser leather interior from GAHH. Correct front rubber mat kit, ew German canvass soft top, ebuilt gauges from Palo Alto Speedometer.Undercarriage : completely rebuilt and detailed rear, nd suspension, ew brakes, ighly detailed and painted ( painted in correct # DB 169) floors, ew exhaust, ll new brake lines and fuel lines.
