Description |
---|
2014 Toyota RAV4 EV for sale by original owner. I am not a dealer. I am preparing to move out of state and Toyota only supports this vehicle in California. Otherwise, would love to keep the car.
MILEAGE MAY CHANGE AS IT WILL STILL BE DRIVEN NOW AND THEN UNTIL SOLD.
Please do not contact me if your are a dealer and are trying to get a used dealer auction price! I will only sell at retail/private party rates.
Highlights:
EPA claims 103 miles. I have gotten 135 miles max, hen driven VERY carefully.
There is a standard range mode which lets you access 80% of the battery. I usually get 109-100 miles in that mode.
The extended range mode unlocks the remaining battery capacity. I usually get between 125-115 miles in that mode.
All of the range depends on how you drive, ncline of roads traveled, /C use or Heater use.
I have used the heater twice, ut get the above ranges consistently using A/C.
Charging Times:
Comes with a 110 volt charger supplied by Toyota. This is called a level 1 charger. It takes a very long time to charge using this. I think I tracked it at about 3 miles of range gained in 1 hour. It would take well over 36 hours to charge from empty to 80% capacity.
You should install at your home a level 2 charger which operates at 240 volts. Mine is a 30 Amp charger so it typically takes 6 hours to charge up to 80% which is 110 miles. An expensive charger from Leviton that operates at 40 Amps will charge it in 5 hours, 20 miles range for hour charged).
If interested in my charger let me know. We can negotiate that into the deal if need be.
Communications and Questions:
Please contact me through e-bay for my phone number. I do not want my number posted online for obvious reasons.
I am a prior Nissan Leaf owner as well, o I can answer just about any question about EV's, harging and range.
