The heart of this truck is the TRD SUPERCHARGED 5.7L I- force V8.Tuning is controlled using the Unichip Pre - Programmed Piggy - Back tuner taking the already stout 381 horsepower to 500, nd the Torque to 550 Ft. pounds using high octane pump gas. I chose the Unichip tuner because it is a Plug -n- play system with no wiring modifications, nd no computer Re flashing leaving the integrity of all systems stock.I must also add that this is not a Race Truck, or should it be purchased for that purpose.This truck is an absolute pleasure to drive with an abundance of linear power through ALL rpm ranges with no loss of fuel economy.
