Ford's SVT team painted the cam and intake manifold covers a silver hue reminiscent of Ford’s big-block glory days. As a finishing touch, Cobra snake emblem stands guard atop the intake plenum. Ford chose to assemble the thoroughbred Cobra V-8 DOHC power plant off-line using a dozen two-member teams. Each team built one engine start to finish and signed off their creation before sending it on its way.
