This van will not pass NY State's strict inspection standard due to an illuminated Check Engine light.
Upon scanning the the on-board computer, he code is P O 455 - which means there is an evap leak.
It does not effect the way the truck runs and drives whatsoever.
The rear hatch latch is broken in the lift gate section of the rear most door - as pictured.
The door still opens and closes but rattles when hitting bumps.
Sliding doors are fine.
I was told it needs a stabilizer link in the front end.
You don't feel it when driving - it was spotted on a visual examination.
No big deal - about a $50.00 - $100.00 fix.
Because it won't pass NY State inspection ...

New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, egistering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”.

When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification.

As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy. Sorry, don’t make the rules but as a used car dealer I must abide by them.

All vehicles that run and drive are driven at least 10 to 20 miles and usually 30 to 40 miles or more. I try to describe these vehicles to the best of my 44 years of experience. Our familiarity with these autos is limited to the miles we drive them. Please be aware of this when bidding.

As always, f the winning bidder is not happy after examination and road test, will cancel the sale and refund $250.00 of your deposit.
