Bay Windows were produced in Germany until 1979. In Brazil the assembly line went until the last days of 2013, ut Crew Cabs in Brazil were built only from 1981 to 1986. Therefore this model it's from the las year of production.
LIke all VW enthusiast know, he model year begins in the previous August. This Double Cab was assembled in October of 1986 as a 1986 model, robably a special order at the end of the production run.
A solid car with mechanics in order, pholstery redone in the original material, ew door linings, ew paint inside and out (paint was faded), ew tires; brakes engine and transmission checked, wo new steering arms. It could use a new headliner and shocks.
