1958 Cadillac Eldorado

New Mexico Car! Not many of this model made. Not many left in this condition, etal wise. First car i've ever owned from New Mexico and no doubtone of the solidest I have ever seen. We wanted to take many pictures of the bottom as to show it off. Also the trunk area is hard to believe. After removing original matting you could see it is very solid and plenty of factory seam sealer and sound dedner. Very Solid Car

Yup it has the factory (way ahead of their times) sabre wheels.Neat stuff. This is a number matching car.Nothing changd or messed with. The most important thing being the Eldorado factory tri-power carburator set up. Yes three duece intake and carburators. All Eldorados in 1958 came standard with this option. Really NEAT STUFF. Don't buy just part of an Eldorado, ook on Ebay, his carb set up complete is a $10,000 investment.

All is original here. The dual snout air cleaner, he right intake madifold, he three carburators, he right linkage for carbs, ery important and really cool stuff.

Lights, o light problems all seems to work. That is counting the six interior lights that come on when opening doors. This includes the bright red lights built into the door panels, ooks awesome at night.

The tires look to be in good shape but to me this car is crying out for the wide whites. to each his own i guess.Some would prefer a set of twenty twos and black walls I guess, ust whatever makes you happy.

Not trying to make this car sound perfect as it is not. The original steering wheel is of course cracked like my 56 and like most I have seen. Don't know where you can buy them maybe it can be redone. This car came factory with vinyl top, n black.

The paint code is 90-1. That's olympic white, lack vinyl top. Olympic white offered onEldorado's only. Car was repainted a year or so ago. Never being waxed or buffed out. It needs buffed badly. It is a caddilac and deserves a little smoother paint job. Car looks awesome from 20 feet. Up close it shows a few sanding marks some will buff out probably not all. If we keep car we would some day reshoot it. As there is NO body work to do, nly sanding and reshoot. Some would buff wax and enjoy it like it is.Again, o each their own.

Interior is pretty neat, eeds very little. I think it sets the car off. I would in time replace the head liner. It is kind of a plastic and coming from a dry climate it must be dried out as it has several small cracks, othing serious and it would be the last thing i would worry about. Carpets are fine, m factory radio works very nice. Cant get the horn to blow but haven't looked into that. This is a factory air condition car. Air does not blow cold. Have no tried to do anything to air far. We just cruise with the window down. All components are here and intact for factory air so i know it can be made to blow cold. There is nothing wrong with this car that money can't fix. My cousin, he over the road trucker, s hopefully going to comecheck out the air whenhe is off the road.

Power Windows. All windows do go up and down with one switch or another. Some switches work some not. There are several sets and there is at least one that works for each window. Has working power wings, eato, ll glass is tinted looks nice. Car has new exhaust. New all the way back to rear bumper. This car shifts outvery smooth. The engine is very quiet, trong, nd sits and idles very smooth.The cables in the dash that operateaircon. controls does not want to move easy and needs sprayed to free up.

Bumper. Bumpers are nice, o dings, ood shape. The stainless is very nice.As pics show there is lots of stainless all is well with all of it. Very nice.

Try and come here andinspect the trunk area.Rust free full of seam sealer and sound deadner. The interior is really neat. ON rear of top of driver seat the stitching has torn. Needs to be replaced. two inch gap.
