When Buick introduced the Grand National the Muscle Car field was anemic at best, eck a Vette only had 185 horses. With the advent of multi-port fuel injection and intercooled turbo chargers the required "ponies to play" equation was pumped up considerably and Buick, f all makes, ecame the benchmark. With 245 horses the 3.8 Liter 6 began to gobble up many a previous competitor on the track and street. Not only did you get loads more power and torque in the muscle bound Regal, ou still got all the creature comforts Buick had become known for in your father's era, ot to mention styling that was pretty avant garde for the times. This great example, ith only 41k miles. in the preferred Black cloaking, as all the power options not to mention a rare sliding sun roof for those of us that still have hair to blow around.
