1950 Mercury Custom Coupe

This car has thetraditional sled style thatisalwaysahit whetheryouare at a weekend cruise or large indoor show!!! It is two-doors, ery clean, rives well, ruises smoothly down the road, nd award winning!!! It has been my pleasure to show and win numerous awards, ncludingAutos of the World 2013.

This was a ground uprestoration, tarted and completed by me. I didallthe work myself, rom bodywork to paint. It isdeckedoutwith a hood and trunk, renched headlights,and‘51 Ford taillights. It has a 67 GTO Pontiac frame, odified to fit the car;Pontiac positive traction rear-end;power disc brakes;and rack and pinon steering. Due to the shaved doors, lectric poppers are in place to give access to the interior with a key remote. Leg pipes run the length of each side and have ashinychrome finish. Tinted electric power windows,trunk and dummy spotlights, nd diamond back radial tires with 2" white walls complete the exterior look.Under the hood is a 350 ZZ4 V8 motor paired with a TURBO 400 automatic transmission.The motor has some nice chrome highlights,valve covers,and anEdelbrock air bonnet. The interioris loaded: 1964 Ford steering wheel,Galaxy dash,1964 Mercury gauges, intage AC/Heat controls,and after market AM/FM radio with power antenna.The interior seats, anels, nd truck are rolled and pleated white vinyl, one by my wife, seamstress. All of the electrical on the car works perfectly viaanew EZ wiring system. At the time of this posting,it has only 2000 miles on it.
