Up for auction is a 1957 Corvette Project Car.Has clear title and Vin tag.No Body, destroyed in fire.So only items are the rolling chassis with motor, -speed and non-posi rearend.Only parts is what you see in pictures. No other parts available.
Chassis was completed disassembled. The bare frame, ront crossmember and rear crossmember were all sandblasted and painted black. The chassis was reassembled for ease of moving. Front crossmember assembly needs to be rebuilt.
The motor is a 283 with casting #3731548 with a cast date of B207 which is February 20 1957. Engine stamp is F0223EF which translates to Feb 23, 83, 20HP, -bbl, ith manual transmission.Has the 3731539 power pak heads. Motor was completely rebuilt and never been started.
The 4-speed is a 1963 B/W out of a corvette. I do not know condition of it.
Rearend is a non-posi.
The frame has had some repair to the side rails as you can see from the pictures. Very neat job. Frame would not passjudging.
Front wheels are riveted 15x5 with old tires and back wheels and tires are old too.
