This car is a GM manufacturer buyback but still has a clean and clear title. It was assessed by GM engineers and found that the rear shocks had a high internal friction coefficient causing a stiff ride. Also the ring and pinion hear had runout variation which induced a vibration feeling. To correct the concern the rear shocks and axle assembly were replaced. there have been no further signs of concern.
