I purchased this Wonderful Pinto from the Original Owner. The Pinto has always been here in Tennessee within 70 miles from my family. We purchased her because in '81 we owned an identical Pinto & always enjoyed her. She is fun & reliable and folks always have stories to tell me about their Pinto of the Past.
I have the original Bill of Sale from Bob Boles Ford which the vehicle cost $4761 NEW back in '79 ! Original window sticker showing all options such as automatic transmission, oof rack, ear defroster, flipper" quarter windows & more. Original owners manual and original Dealer front plate, Morristown, N". In my possession the first registration dated 08/02/1979. All this goes with the car. She is equipped with the faithful 2300 cc motor. 22-30 mpg. Ready for any show !
Since in my possession, have done the following upgrades though keeping the car as stock as possible.
New pain (OEM color), ew Upholstery, ew Carpet, ew Door Panels, ew vinyl in rear, ir conditioning (under dash mount) with compressor & accessories professionally installed, nbsp;radiator with electric fan, ransmission cooler, ew Battery 10/15 with 5 year Warranty, rant steering wheel, un-Pro gauge package, nbsp;Kenwood am/fm cd package with 4 speakers. Upgraded wheels from 13" stock to 14" with 195's in the rear & 185's in the front.
We have enjoyed her at car shows and cruise-ins over the years with the grand-kids. But times have changed and now to move on. You will not be disappointed. A Classic in her own right ! An affordable turn key car requiring nothing. Mileage shows approximately 05,000 as there is only 5 digits. It has less than 105,000 miles. The mileage is accurate as by log of original owner.
