100% all steel, erfectly straight 1949 Anglia which I built back in 2004 and have been "massaging" ever since.Absolutelyno issues, he ONLY problem was an electric fuel pump "went south" about 6 years ago. A constant show winner and featured in Gasser Wars Magazine and on the cover. A QUALITY built car that has been used as a daily driver with never adisappointment. Has never been abused or down the 1/4 mile, ut would certainly 'hold it's own' running a BDS 6:71 blown 377ci sbc, ery rare Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, modified 750 Holley dbl. pumpers, ull MSD crank trigger ignition, omp cam & rollers and much more. The interior is very comfortable, gain with all the best parts in place. Just for grins on the freeway's, here's electric dumps to keep you awake. A full tube frame with Turbo 400, " Ford posi, ragster torsion bar, heelie bars, -link with dbl. adj coilovers, rum rears and disc front brakes. The body's been chopped, hanneled, enders raised to maintain proportions, odified trunk, lectric suicide doors and windows. Great pains and a lot of sketch work was involved with the design and final rendering of this car, ith every modification analysed before any final work was done - for me, f the proportions are off, t fails. The chop was of the most concern, long with ride height. It needed to be right from all angles, nd even at night. The finished work nailed my expectations, hich involved many quality fabricators, aint & body workers, pholsterers and so on. If you;d like to have a breakdown on all the work andcomponentsused, ust send an email through the "question" link. All the best parts have been used, ust didn't want to list everything in this ad, ue to making it pages long, nd if you know quality, ou can see for yourself that it's all here.
The car has a wicked stance & look, specially when the hood & side curtains are removed, hich takes less than 5 minutes and 4 bolts. NOTE; Last 2 photos taken prior to rework & repaint front 1/3 of car - just showing it W/O the hood & curtains, lus compactness of scoop to windshield.
The ONLY reason for selling is to provide room for one more "build", nd to gain the shop space, he Anglia & anextremelyRARE 1948 Morris Series Z Sedan Delivery (1 of less than 10 known to exist as per the Morris UK Registry - SOLD, 0/11/15) sadly have to go . Since I'm 70+ yrs. old, y wife is questioning my sanity, ut building hot rods is all I've done since 1963 - guess I'vealwaysbeen "a bubble off". More info is available on Seattle Craigslist under Pro Street & Hot Rod, r by emailing me through eBay's "question" tab.Hey, IDS will certainly be accepted - who knows ???
I Just had an offer, hich was declined, ut I'd like to put some pricing aspects out there for those that believe they could build a quality car such as this for 60k, et alone even 80k.I have well over $55,000 invested in the body mods of chopping, hanneling, aising the fenders & beltline, odifying the trunk, ew floors, uicide doors, lectric windows & doors, illing the roof, ustom steel garnish moldings, ustom hood, aint (including pearl and candies), ustom dash & console, ull tube frame, ackhalfing - and I did a lot of the work and got a screamin' deal on the rest of it. Top quality through n' through. Add in the entire driveline, lower engine, ull custom interior and all the other labor and pricey items, nd you'll be bouncing off 6 figures ..... easy. Just an FYI. Always available for inspection.
