The well-proven turbocharged engine from the Bentley Turbo R had been chosen to power what one reporter termed as a sort of "Crewe's Missile".The power output is from a 6.75 liter fuel injected Turbocharged V-8 producing 426 bhp @ 4500 rpm and 650 lb. ft. of torque @ 2250 rpm.
