Looking for BEST OFFER
1960 Citroen 2CV.
This is a fun car, ejuvenated from a basket case. Turn heads wherever you go. You will be just about guaranteed to win an award wherever you enter her. Very reliable.
It was revolutionary in its time (first sold in 1948, nd nearly unchanged until 1990) with independent suspension, ack and pinion steering, ront wheel drive, cyl air cooled engine, speed gearbox.
Its 425 cc engine puts out a whopping 18 hp that will have you cruising at 50mph.
I tell admirers, There's not much you can leave off, nd still have a car."
Chances are you have a lawn mower with a larger engine, ut this is a lot more fun than mowing the lawn.
The odometer listed isn't likely the actual mileage, nd is in kilometers.
We're looking for the best offer that is not unreasonable. New parts include: floor panels, as tank, eats, rake master cylinder, heel cylinders and brake shoes, oof with rear window, omplete exhaust system, attery and many more. The tires are Michelins in very good condition. It has the 425 engine and centrifugal clutch. It doesn't have the side windows in the rear which makes it a bit more unique, long with the front opening "suicide doors." It runs very well and is a joy to drive. As for faults, t has two. It is not water proof. The vent below the windshield does not seal completely, nd there is no weather-stripping at the front of the new roof. The second fault, t's subject to vapor lock. It can be reluctant to start when the engine is warm. The primer lever on the fuel pump helps, ut it can take a bit of cranking to get a start. It will eventually start and it cranks very well.
