This is a 2006 model Ford Crown Victoria Police Package (P71). This vehicle was a marked unit/ recently retired one owner vehicle (not including myself who recently purchased it) used by a smal, rofessional Department in Northern CA. This Dept takes care of their vehicles, nd I know this as I have owned several from them. All maintenance records are meticulous (and I even have the full service record book which will go with the car to the new owner). This agency doesn't even tolerate for door dings. Other than for some equipment installation, he rest of the paint, ody, nd interior is near perfect for a vehicle of this age. This vehicle is fully smogged and registered in CA. This vehicle has a new transmission (Ford 4R75E) added at approx 100K, ew wheels, ew tires, ll new fluids, nd even a brand new, ever sat on rear seat and new never been used rear seat belts. The hard plastic rear seat was removed and a brand new Ford stock OEM P71 vinyl one added. I have proof of all of this down to every oil change. I have personally changed all fluids myself directly after recent purchase and added a new battery. These vehicles are safe and very good deals for new drivers, igh mileage commuters, nd yes, ven to collectors who want a roomy yet performance minded ride. Not many vehicles can go approx 500,000 miles without major failure- these police packages can and do. Being 'on the job' for many years, nowing the capability of these vehicles, nd collecting too many over a few decades, must 'thin the herd' of my fleet. That being said, only buy quality and do not sell very often. Some of my Fords will be the first to go from my collection. Any serious offers for other P71s as well as the highly coveted older 9C1s will be considered. I am a 'major collector' that started with the 1981 year models. Vehicle has the blue- silicone lined hoses that last the life of the vehicle. I have these in 1980's models still without ever needing replacement. Vehicle has a clear title under my name as I was going to keep this amazing car, ut alas I have too many! Since I only buy quality, very vehicle I have decided to sell has gone to a happy customer without issues after purchase. Ford was (finally) able to get the last several years of the Crown Victoria right (2006-2011 models specifically). These are much improved over the 2005 and older years in several categories. Mainly the transmission, uspension, nd performance. NEW FEATURES for 2006: 17" steel wheels, Tachometer and digital odometer in standard instrument cluster, Radio antenna embedded in rear glass (like pre-2005), R75E transmission with improved launch performance and electronic controls, ngine hour meter log, rip computer standard, Power steering pumping capacity (volume per revolution) reduced for improved fuel economy, allistic door panels optional, 85 Compatible Flex-Fuel system (FFV) now optional, EMOVED FEATURES: Engine "beauty cover" deleted (police), ront lower control arm (LCA) changed to stamped steel (was cast aluminum), ront shock travel changed (to accommodate stamped steel LCA).
