86 cLASSIC jAGUAR xj6.. jUST OUT OF STORAGE..RUNS BUT NEEDS TUNE UP & FUEL svc

This Jaguar was one of the most bulletproof ones you could buy of that era. It was designed by Italian stylist Pininfarina. The same man who styles FERRARI !!! It took me over 2 years to find one as good cosmetically as this one...The 4.2 6 cyl had great economy and performance and would outlast the car. This LOW MILE example is in outstanding shape less a few surface spots around the corner of the front and rear window glass. very common. This was stored indoors for most of it's life and never run in the salt as you can see by the body panels and chassis.
The interior shows almost perfectly including the $1000.00 Nardi hardwood streering wheel. and it is a fully optioned car. Everything works except I cant seem to get the car to idle properly.
The car will start and drive although it has a hard time idling and will sometimes not start immediately. Since i work alot, put the car in storage again and now need to sell her to someone else.
This model because of its classic looks is starting to incerase in value. Average prices are in the 9-12k range !!! . It will take very little to get this to purr like a kitten because we've narroweed it down to the fuel flow whick means a fuel system cleaning and possibly a new fuel pump.
This was going to be my special event sedan for our Sat and Sundays but my wife says we need to pay our taxes not put money into a spare fun car at this time.
