1970 Mercury Cougar, Boss 302, G code

For sale is my rare, eal 1970 Boss 302 cougar eliminator. This car is BADA$$! Check the marti report! Original Yellow with V code rear gears and wide ratio 4 speed transmission which is more rare then the closed ratio boss 302 cougars!. This car also came with Black houndstooth checkered cloth interior. If you are looking for a rare restoration project this is the one to do. I can only imagine how many of the Boss eliminators are still around. I bought this car with the intention of restoring it for myself but have decided to work on a different project. This car needs a lot of attention but is worth the time and investment. I have put on as many photos as ebay allows to accurately present my car. All the body panels on this car are original with all original spot welds in place. The doors, ood, loor and passenger side front fender are beyond the point of repair but the rockers, rame rails, ear torque boxes, ear quarters (excluding the lower rear quarters), ront aprons, irewall, oof, indow gutters, ecklid gutters, adiator support and many other areas are repairable in my opinion. I prefer to restore as much of an original car as possible rather than replace body panels. In my opinion there are more good then there are bad areas of this car. Unfortunately the motor, ransmission and N case center piece of the rear end was missing when I bought this car. Fortunately this car comes with a correct air cleaner and rear spoiler which can bring up to $1000 themselves. The door panels, indows and seat belts are in the car but the seats, achometer and blackout plate are missing. My car is being sold AS IS and with a bill of sale only, his is often not a problem with many states due to the age of the car but check with your state before purchasing. I had to enter clear title in the pull downs to move forward with the listing but again this is being sold with a bill of sale only. The shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. This car rolls but does not stop. The car is located indoors at my shop which is easily accessible by any size truck. Please contact me with ?s anytime. I would like to emphasize before the auction ends that the engine, ransmission and N case rear section are missing from this car. I noted this in the original listing but wanted to high light this fact because I received an email requesting photos of the drive line and realize the original ad may have been unclear. What is in the photos is what is for sale. With that said I was also contacted by someone who stated the matching number engine block was listed for sale on ebay in 2009 and may be registered in the boss 302 registry. I have not done any research yet but thought it was worth mentioning.
