For sale is a 2000 Ford Taurus SEL V6 3.0L 24v DOHC. Exterior Color Silver, nterior Color Black. Full Leather, ruise Control, ower windows, ower Locks, ower Steering, Disc CD Changer. The vehicle has great tread on tires. Very clean vehicle inside. 2 owners. Clean title. Smoke Free! Car has been in family since purchase. We are selling vehicle as it is no longer a need for us.
The air blows out of the vents, nd the whole system works. When you turn on the A/C the heat blows hotter. We have had the system pressure tested and checked for leaks but there are none. The problem is the system does not blow cold air. Ford explained to us that problem could be a door inside the dash as it has 3. The actuators are probably out in the doors, ausing the system to be switched to hot only as the door actuators will not flip over to blow out cold air. Nothing is wrong with the system. No leaks, othing. You can hear the A/C Compressor kick in when you turn on the air and switch on the full A/C mode. A tree branch landed on the car during a rain storm while my girlfriend was at work. It did dent the vehicle, ainly the passenger door. The rear passenger window does not roll down. The motor for the window may be out.
We have replaced the Fuel Pump recently, t has a brand new battery just bought. Air filter changed regularly, il changed regularly, indshield wipers replaced recently. I run Seafoam in with a full tank of gas every 6 months. The car was bought by my grandmother/grandfather and then sold to my girlfriend when she needed a vehicle. We have always taken good care of the car as I solely believe in preventative maintenance, nd keeping the car clean and cared for. We have tried our best do so and would not hesitate to drive the car a long distance. The car averages 25MPG, nd takes approximately $20 to fill up. The car drives and rides smooth.
