Up for sale is our 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid with 86,xxx miles. This vehicle gets about 35 MPG in the city and 30 MPG Hwy! It is a true pleasure to drive with no squeaks, attles, r noises. It is driven with some frequency, o mileage may go up before sale.
Reason for sale: Too many vehicles at home and this one gets driven less than we thought we would use it.

RECENT MAINTENANCE

• Shortly after we bought it, he gas motor developed a rod knock. Thinking we would be keeping it for a while, e invested over $2,500 in having a new (used) gasoline motor installed. We purchased the lowest-mile unit available within a 500-mile radius, nd the replacement gas motor only has 67,000 miles on it. The motor was installed by a local automotive repair center and features a 6-month warranty. All paperwork is available for inspection and will be provided to the buyer at the time of sale. Note, he hybrid system was unaffected by the gas motor's issues and works great.
• The automatic transmission shifts properly.
• The 330-volt Nickel-Metal-Hydride (Ni-MH) Hybrid Battery charges and discharges properly.
• At the time of the new motor being installed, rakes and suspension components were checked and given a clean bill of health. This truck drives straight on the highway with no tire vibration.
