The car's factory options include: 5.6 liter OHC V8 engine, automatic transmission with torque converter, supplemental restraint system, nti-theft alarm system with radio theft deterrent, ower assisted steering, ruise control, inted glass, electric window lifts, electrically heated rear window on hard top, ully independent suspension, ower assisted four wheel disc brakes, anti-lock braking system, ight alloy wheels, imited slip differential, eather upholstery, djustable bucket seats and head restraints, ront center folding arm rest, eather covered steering wheel and gear selector, utomatic antenna, erodynamic Halogen Head & Fog lamps and air conditioning with automatic climate control and central locking. Obviously always garaged and covered with no accidents and a clean CARFAX report with the original factory 'Arctic White' color paint still virtually flawless and with an absolutely beautiful condition 'Palomino' leather interior with virtually no signs of any wear and with the original leather dashboard and the walnut wood veneer interior still like new (obviously always garaged from the sun and elements!) The car was purchased new at 'Contemporary Motors', he Mercedes-Benz dealership of Little Silver, J on 6/24/1989 and the car was initially serviced there until being traded back to the dealership with 8,661 original miles in 1991. The dealership promptly sold the car to its second owner who was a 'snowbird' and who moved the car to his winter home in Naples, L where the car was rarely used and where it remained until 2006 when it was then sold to a family member who lived in SC. The car was sold a few months later to a 4th owner/collector in VA, retired former fighter pilot, here it was added to his climate controlled garage collection and who stated that the car was one of the very best examples in the world! The original Michelin tires were still on the car but he mounted 4 new 'Bridgestone Pontenzas' in order to preserve the original tires for when showing the car at club events! The car was taken to a renown local auto body shop where the body shop's owner confirmed the car to be "one of the nicest examples of a 560SL he had ever seen". The car drives exactly like such a well maintained and serviced Mercedes with only 16K original miles should and must be seen and driven to be truly appreciated! The engine is extremely strong with no oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool. All the options are working as they should including the A/C.
