I bought this car in June of 2015, rom the original owners who bought it new to drive their baby granddaughter around. I bought it from them with 29k miles, nd have loved it. In the time i've owned it we have done the following to her:- OEM roof racks with keys- OEM Touareg All-weather floor mats- New Interstate (green top) battery - 6/2015.- Al&Eds professional stereo upgrade. (Factory one was CD based nav which didn't work very well.- Pioneer Avic-NEX8100 Navigation with Bluetooth, raffic Nav, ackup Camera, D Radio, SB, nd Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Installed by Al&Eds. ($1250)- Alpine power amps 2x (one for front speakers, ther for rear) ($1099) 2004 models you had to rewire to upgrade the stereo.- New Rear brake rotors and pads (VW) $850- New Nitto Terra Grappler 2 ($1180) comes with lifetime tire warranty/balancing/alignment.- Weathertec trunk mat- Magnaflow axel back exhaust. Sounds very good. Not loud or obnoxious, o on youtube to hear.- Porsche Cayenne GTS sway bars - If you know Touareg's, ou know they weigh 6,000+ lbs. The upgraded Porsche sway bars helped eliminate the roll you feel when making a turn.
We purchased this car in the hopes to start exploring new places and taking roadtrips in it. However work has been hectic for me and her, o we feel we are not going to be exploring any new places in the near future. (Sadly). Therefore since she has a company car, nd we both have personal cars, e dont need three cars in our driveway. So we hope you are looking for a great car that will take you and your family to places we wish we could have time to go and see. We put the better tires on it for all-terrain (snow, and, ud) but they've only seen the concrete roads.
