This 2008 Tesla Roadster is "Glacier" blue with a tan interior and black soft top. It's a blast to drive, nd turns heads everywhere it goes.
The extended "CPO" warranty is good until October 1, 016 and covers everything the original factory warranty covered, ncluding the battery. I've confirmed with Tesla that the warranty is transferable to a new owner.
The car does have "paint armor" all around, lthough there is a blemish on the front bumper where the front licence plate adapter mounts.
The tires areYokohama Neova AD07's; fronts are at about 70% tread and the rears are brand new.
The stereo has been upgraded with the factory optional single-DIN navigation model. This includes bluetooth and SiriusXMsatelliteradio. The original stereo will also be included.
About the battery:The battery was replaced under the existing warranty in January due to some minor warning message. The car still ran and charged fine, ut I guess replacing it was easiest for Tesla. The replacement battery is exceedingly healthy.
People often ask "how many miles does it charge to?" Unfortunately, hat's a loaded question because the miles can vary based on voltage and amperage of the charge. The only consistent value for determining battery health is theCalculated Amp-hour Capacity, r CAC, hich the car measures over time. This battery is currently measured at154.60 on a scale that goes to 160 for a brand new battery. Most cars of this age and mileage would be at least ten points lower. But, or those who are curious, t 240V/30A, standard charge results in 184 miles, nd 190 miles as 120V/12A.
The car does come with the soft top and soft-top storage bag.It includes the MC240 charging adatper, hich uses a NEMA 14-50 plug (typically known as an "RV" plug) and charges at 30 ampsIt also includes an "MC120" charging adapter, hich uses a normal 110v outlet and charges up to 15 amps.I'm also including an original Tesla J1772 adapter cable, hich will allow you to use many public charging stations.
* The car is currently being driven on a regular basis, o mileage may increase slightly over time.
I am available to show the car in the greater Austin, exas area, nd the DFW area on occasion. I'm happy to coordinate with any shipping company you arrange, ut full payment must be made before I turn over the keys.
