This is a 2002 Subaru WRX Impreza sedan in a 1 out of 400 color Blaze Yellow. It is an automatic that just hit 174,000 miles today. I hate to part with such a fun car but I was gifted a newer car and have no space in my driveway for 3 cars.
This is a beautiful car, y daily driver and very fun to drive. It has no issues passing inspection here in MA and has a current sticker. It has never been raced but has an Acessport tune, obb exhaust and Perrin air intake which really helps with gas milage and performance. This car has had a lot of professional repairs done to it toensure it will live to its full potential lifespan (Subarus easily clear 250,000 miles). Title is clean and clear, ar is currently registered, nspected, nsured and driven. You can pick up this car and drive it across the country home with no issues.
The timing belt has been DONE! When looking at Subaru's, ost are for sale cheapbecause they need that expensive repair done. Drive knowing the timing belt is good for another 80,000 miles. Additional work that has been done (almost all at a Subaru dealership with over $15,000 ofreceipts that come with the car, oo much to list)
Rebuilt transmission (done at 120,000 miles)Rebuilt front and rear suspension (due to recall, one by dealership)Valve GasketsAll rubber hosesNew Blizzak tires installed NovemberShocks/StrutsStainless Steel Skid Plate (instead of heatshields that rust and make noise on all Subaru's)
Oil has been changed every 3000-4000 miles with Royal Purple full synthetic, ecause of the turbo it is best to use synthetic and change often.
No modifications have been done to the turbo that would affect its lifespan. Car has not been RICE'd out, aced, eavily modified or had anyamateur home modifications done. Try to find a WRX that has not been messed with.
Downsides are, ust around wheel wells, ike most Subaru's in the northeast, hat is the reason for the low price. There is some touch up paint on it, ar could use some love in the paint/bondo department, ut what you get is a mechanically solid car. There are 2 dents, ne the size of a golf ball in the hood and one on the rear passenger side door. The dent on the door can be pulled out and hood replacements are an easy find. There is a rip in the seam of the drivers side seat that can be stitched up. The switches for thepassenger side windows do not work, ut can be rolled down on the drivers side ($20 fix each, he motor is fine). The blower motor for the heat/ac needs to be fixed (blower motor resistor pack I believe $45 part). Suspension is the unknown factor. I recently had the passenger side wheel bearing done and I believe the drivers side rear needs to be done too. I am not sure what on the suspension needs to be done, ut if i was keeping the car, ts something I would look into. I had a mechanic look at the car recently as he was doing my new car's timing belt and he said it is one of the lowest rust 2002 WRX's he has seen and offered to trade some labor for the car. Herecommended me keeping the car for fun, ut I do not have space for 3 cars.
Payment via Paypal, heck or Cash.Immediate deposit required using buy it now. Checks will need to clear before car is parted with. You must arrange transportation on the car. It is currently insured and registered, ut I will not let you use my plates to drive it home, will deliver locally (New England, f my day off lines up, have no problem driving the car 2 hours away). Nowarranty expressed or implied. Know what your getting into, ubaru's are not the cheapest cars to keep on the road, ut the love affair with them makes it worth it.
