Rare, are and Naked

This 1966 C-10 is an original New Mexico truck. As you can see from the photos the body is near perfect for going around naked in public. Yes, t has all its original body parts and it’s solid.

The original paint was chemically removed. The truck sat for 5 days as the bare metal was allowed to naturally oxides. This gave it the dark raw metal look. The metal was then prepped and sprayed with a clear plastic coat application. The finish is hard as nails. You can’t even scratch it. The body and bed was reinstalled to the frame with new bushings.

The front and rear suspension is all updated. It sports power steering and power front disc brakes. The driveline is a new 350/300 hp. The transmission is a new 700-R with a Lokar shifter. The truck keeps cool with its new 4 core aluminum radiator. The steering column is a new Ididit tilt with a Grant steering wheel.

All the glass is perfect. Windows roll up and down. All door rubbers, eals, nd window felts are new. The interior was finished in the basic Rat-Rod style. The floor is covered with a new rubber floor mat and new door sill plates. The original seat was re-padded and re-upholstered using a vinyl – leather look.

The exterior chrome is in great shape. Door handles, oor stickers, arker lights, ail lights are all new. The wheels and tires are brand new. They really make the truck.

This is a clean, ependable truck. It’s a perfect daily driver. The truck needs nothing.
