On Dec-29-15 at 10:38:44 PST, eller added the following information:
This is a largely original 1950 Ford F3 3/4 ton pickup. In response to a number of questions, would like to provide the same information to everyone interested in purchasing the truck. The motor is original to the truck, as rebuilt approximately 2000 miles ago, nd will run properly with a repaired / replaced generator. The truck was personally driven nearly 700 miles in April without any issues. As mentioned before, he generator needs to be rebuilt or replaced as the battery is not retaining charge. The transmission is a 4-speed manual on the floor. The truck is still on the original 6 volt system (essentially, he truck has had very few modifications). Aftermarket turn signals were added. Still has the original Ford heater. There is some corrosion at the bed and on the left rear fender, s well as surface corrosion. The bench seat is original, nd needs re-upholstery. The passenger window is cracked, therwise all other glass is in good condition. The dash is in good condition. All gauges were working on the drive. The front tires were replaced before I drove it, nd I retained the original wheels in the bed of the truck. The truck still has the original wooden bed. A hitch has been installed, s this was a working farm truck. If you have any additional questions or need any additional information, eel free to send me a message and I will promptly response. Sale needs to be completed within three days after auction ends, s I am moving abroad. Good luck with your bids - it really is a nice truck.
