Subaru Outback Legacy (2000)

I am reluctantly selling my 2000 Outback Legacy. This car has a lot of great features, s in very good condition, nd is priced reasonably, nlike some of the other outbacks posted on here. If you're looking at this ad, ou probably already know these are great cars. Bought low mileage used at Duke Gold Subaru in Indianapolis this car has had the same owner for 15 years with regular maintenance and synthetic oil. No one has ever smoked in this car. No current mechanical problems. Approximately 75,000 miles on the new engine! (Old engine and radiator were replaced by insurance with a factory rebuilt short block after a deer strike damaged the radiator, ausing engine seizure). Mainly highway mileage. Transmission and front transaxle were replaced by Neal Tire about 85,000 miles ago after an employee changed the oil by draining the trans/transaxle, hen adding 4+ extra quarts to the engine. The trans/transaxle were ruined. The Tech was fired. The company replaced the trans/transaxle with low mileage used, nd I started doing my own oil changes! Totally structurally sound, ut with minor scratches yet virtually no rust. Strengthened rear strut supports. Used this as my daily commuter between rural towns. Car comes with an adapter for your iPod, Phone, Pad etc. Retiring to where I won't have space for it (Beach community). Total workhorse with at least 100,000 miles left in it and I'm sad to let it go!
The Good:*Outback Legacy with Subaru 4 cylinder. Stock with 165 hp and 166 ft/lbs oftorque. Factory rebuilt short block with only 75,000 miles on it. Transmission/front transaxle replaced with low mileage used (after the damage and inconvenience Neal Tire caused I was VERY insistent) about 85,000 miles ago. *New qualityhead gasket, iming belt, tc. 75,000 miles ago. I have invoices of the work done. This was done by a shop in Terre Haute IN. with a great reputation with Subarus.*Power everything, ncluding aftermarket remote start.* Consistent oil changes with name brand name synthetic oil. *Adult driven, ot abused.
The not as good:*I would estimate that the tires have about 10,000 to 15,000 miles left on them. Slight imbalance in one at some speeds.*CD changer inconsistent
