2000 BMW M5, A+++ Maintained, New BMW Engine previously replaced!!

2000 M5 – 112,000 mile, itanium Silver with Black

This M5 is for sale as I do not need it any longer. It has been service and maintained at a well-known shop BMW specific shop here in the Houston area: Bavarian Machine Specialties since 2006.

The car has the 550 intake system and front bumper ribs - it is a real M5

Purchased used from Momentum BMW - Houston in March 2006 with 62,715 miles.

An extended warranty was purchased with the car. The warranty is no longer in place.

The car was sold new in Houston and believed to have been in Texas since. It has never been out of Houston since it was purchased by me

At 69,300 miles a NEWLONG block was installed. The original motor suffered from the rod bushing wear “disease". For a couple of reasons, ut mainly because of an extended warranty dispute, t was off the road for about 2-1/2 years.

Along with thelong block additional work done at that time included numerous new hoses, askets, ines and bushings, ew radiator, ew clutch and master cylinder, ew starter, ew fuel pump, indshield and rear window seals, isassembled, leaned and reassembled fuel tanks and system, decarboned” intake system, VANOS accumulator retrofit (not original on 2000 model year) and other equipment replacement.

The new motor was properly broken in, ith recommended oil and fluids changes made since that time.

The car has been well maintained with all work, ncluding the engine replacement, erformed by Bavarian Machine Specialties in Houston.

Since the car was bought, t has only had the correct, ecommended Castrol Oil used. The car has only been operated using either Chevron or Shell gasoline. It has never been tracked.

Other work has included – NAV and Sirius upgrade, ew rearview mirror, C service, cheduled oil changes and fluid flushes. Both rear and front bumpers were recently replaced due to parking garage damage, nd the hood was redone to repair clear coat damage on the leading edge. It has a relatively new set of Michelin Pilot Sport Tires, nd the wheels have recently been refinished/painted.
