NO RESERVE!...1997 JEEP WRANGLER SOFT TOP 6CYL MANUAL < 80,000 miles

Meet Firepie: a fantastic jeep I've owned for 15 yrs. I am her second owner, uying her years ago when I lived in Nevada. She has been registered in NV, A, nd VA. For many years, he was just driven around town or housed comfortably in a garage; this is why her mileage is so low. With a little under 80,000 original miles she still runs GREAT, ut the wiring harness needs replaced. The engine's wiring is fine, ut the dashboard's is toast. So until the dashboard gadgets work again, he exact mileage can't be recorded. A little over 2 years ago I gave birth to my only child, amp; a couple of months after that Pie's heater fan relay caught aflame & completely melted the wires. Amazingly, he heat still works on the first 3 fan speeds, ust not the highest. Her A/C doesn't, hough.
At first, buddy of mine who loves working on jeeps as a hobby offered to help me out, s my insurance didn't cover this (oversight on my part while switching companies) & he knew money was tighter now with our newborn. Alas, he job proved too much for him, amp; you can see where he bundled some of the wires behind the dash with electrical tape. So we took Pie to the local jeep dealer where they (surprisingly) stored her for quite a few months while confirming that the harness does indeed need to be replaced.The dealership said Pie also needs a new clutch. It isn't burnt or slipping, ut her 5 speed won't disengage. My husband, ho knows quite a bit about vehicles himself, as been the one driving her around the neighborhood. He says someone MAY have enough finesse to drive her, ut we prefer to give a test drive demonstration by having my husband start her in gear himself to drive around our street. We will be happy to have you come in person, ut if that's not possible, e will gladly take a video for you. Her gears, xles, ngine, amp; 4 wheel drive work great, amp; her starter is brand new.
As you can see in the pics, he's a really good looking jeep. Over the years I have tried to always have her look nice. I constantly Armouralled her soft top & plastic bits & kept her waxed. The top is the original & is in great condition as well. Her paint job still looks good, oo; there are a couple scratches here & there, o biggies. Pretty good for being a jeep & 18 years old, o boot. About 12 years ago my husband traded her steel rims for aluminum ones & lifted her a wee bit for me (2 inches). I replaced her zipper windows with sliding glass half doors about 8 years ago & have been super happy with them. And the tires are pretty new, ith 3/4 of the tread still popping out.
Roughly 4 years back I swapped her old radiator for a double core aluminum one. I always thought she would be with me for the long haul, amp; wanted to replace anything with the highest quality I could afford.
The title is clean. Like I mentioned, he's been mine for 15 years & I paid her off a long time ago. It absolutely levels me that I have to sell her. But I just can't afford to restore her the way she should be, amp; she's way too good of a girl to just sit around & rot, aiting for some miracle to occur. So if you really want a seriously good jeep, amp; are willing & able to set things straight on her, ou may want to take a close look at Pie. She deserves a great jeep life.
