1962 AMC Rambler American 400 Convertible, Excellent body, runs like a top!

This car is originally from dry and sunny Texas. I have looked it over carefully on a lift, nd have found no filler or metal patching anywhere in the body or floor pans. The frame, runk, nd wheelwells are in similar pristine condition. The gorgeous red paint is glossy throughout, ith a few very minor chips, cratches and dings. It has an electric/hydraulic power operated top.
The car runs and drives very well. The trunnion bushings, ires, rakes, hocks, uel pump, arburetor, nd exhaust system have recently been replaced or rebuilt. It starts easily, dles quietly, nd runs smoothly. It has excellent chrome, lass, pholstery, op frame and fabric, nd carpets.
List of problems: Drivers door lock cylinder is missing but I have a NOS cylinder that I will include, he heater blows air but does not produce heat, he fuel gauge is inop but I have a NOS instrument fuel gauge included in sale, he thin stainless trim on the drivers quarter panel is slightly wavy when sighted down the side of the car and the thin stainless trims on the right fender and right quarter panel have two very small dents in them. I will include a NOS left quarter panel stainless steel trim in the sale. The steering feels a bit vague when driving but it tracks straight down the road, nd the neutral start switch needs adjustment (driver must push slightly on the shift lever in order to crank the engine with the key). The wiper motor is vacuum operated and has not been hooked up after the fuel pump was replaced, o the wipers do not currently work.

The odometer reads a little over 52,330 and works, ut I do not believe that this number is accurate.
