1983 Mercedes Benz 300D

1983 Mercedes Benz 300D turbo diesel. Approximately 284000 miles. Maintained by Hagerstown MD Mercedes Benz. Car is reasonably clean and in good shape considering it is over 30 years old. The leather upholstery is showing some wear and there is a large split in the seam of the headrest area in the back seat. Car drives well, sed to commute to work until I got a newer car this past October. Air-conditioning, eat, unroof work great. Headlights and fog lights work. Single disc CD player with key disc (theft deterrent) works well with speakers replaced in 1997. Vacuum door lock system works. Side and rear windows were tinted to maximum allowable by state law. Front windshield could not be tinted by law. New Michelin tires put on car in 2014 and battery replaced in 2015. Car has passed PA state inspection without difficulty for the past 12 years. Car has never been in an accident. Cruise control and radio antenna do not work.
Supplementals include Chilton repair manual, riginal MB catalog from 1981 featuring this car's body style, 50000 kilometer medallion (on left lower grille) and 250000 kilometer framed certificate. In the trunk are some extra parts I took off a junked MB of the same body style (i.e. headlight frames), nd new various filters. Spare tire and original mechanic's kit are in the trunk too.
