Nice 1966 Mercedes 230 sl with both topsVery shiny Tangerine base clear paint that is older but very presentable. Floors and trunk are rust free. The only sign of rust is a small spot on the drivers rear wheel well that would be an easy fix and easy to match. The hood has a bump on the center that appears to be factory or was done to provide additional clearance. I dont know why. All chrome and bright work is very nice and rust free. Glass is also nice. Interior is original and ok. Engine is a 129.98 newer 250 that many prefer over the original. It runs good and has a new after market fuel pump. Battery has been moved to the trunk at some point. Soft top is shot and needs replaced frame is nice and works fine.Hard top is nice as is the headliner. This car was inherited by its current owner and sat inside a heated garage here in the dry mountain desert. It drives and runs good and would be a great candidate for a restoration or drive and enjoy as is . It does need a little tlc. The gas tank sending unit needs replaced for sure as does the ignition switch, here may be other things as well. The current owner has seldom driven the car. I am selling the car for a friend . Inspections are welcome. The car is located in Glenns Ferry Idaho, about 1 hour from the Boise Idaho airport. Call Stan at 208-989-7150 with questions.
