Description

Purchased new 8/4/69 at Hillcrest Cadillac in Beverly Hills. On the back of the owner's manual is the phone number to call to have the car brought up to use. Dial HOllywood 7-0046. Car has all GM belts and hoses. Has original spring-ring negative battery cable but positive has been replaced. This car is not a museum piece but does want to continue to show its superior styling. The tires had 100% tread but were 22 years old so they were replaced a few weeks ago. I resist driving it because if one of those GM belts or hoses popped I would have to do the harry-kerry. On Oct. 30th, 001 $15.00 of gas was added then driven another 48 miles. That took it from 55,923 miles to 55,971. It then went into inside storage for over 10 years then sat out for 3 years. That did the vinyl top no good however the roof was well painted. The rear bumper has been bumped so the fuel door hits. Left rear quarter has had a horizontal crease that was fixed. The filler is beginning to crack around the side marker. It would seem that when the hood is opened the chrome bites into the paint causing the paint to chip and then the rust. The heater works well but the compressor doesn't get cold so I unplugged it. I took it to DMV and they verified it legal in all the 50 states. Has 4 T-3 headlights and rubber mats. I hated to see it turn 56,000 miles but I wanted to show it off at a car club meeting. They were amazed by the original interior. Thousands of people can paint a car but few can sew that leather like that little old lady at GM. This car has NOT had a tune-up and all ignition parts are original except I did replace the plugs, aving the originals. You won't be late as the clock keeps good time. Payment will be a wire transfer to my bank account, ar to be picked up within 30 days. Bring your own plate as I will be keeping mine. VIN: H9 303999
