2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4
I purchased this truck back in 2012 with a bad engine and non working 4x4. over the past few years i put alot of time and money into this truck and can no longer continue.
body is in great shape with no rust.
few scratches and a couple small dings/dents
it originally had the 5.2l engine, ut in 2014 i got what i thought was a good deal on a 5.9l gas engine /trans combo. this motor in trans was installed from a 96 dodge 2500. i was told the engine was fully rebuilt which after 6 months i found out that was not the case. it has the 5.2l engine intake put on it. the ending began to periodically blow smoke and became worse over time. i planned to purchase a new engine but things went south.
the truck has been sitting sense 11/24/2014 and only moved in the yard a few times sense then as i was unsure if i wanted to continue to work on it. The rear end blew on me at the beginning of November 2014. the center pin of the spider gears came out damaging the carrier. in turn it did something to the transmission.
it will move in reverse only. right now it is locked in 4 wheel drive with rear drive shaft removed.

no radiotruck was repainted back in 2010 which must of been a cheep paint job as come clear coat in paint came off showing original color.
it has pine tree drops on it from where it was sitting
sitting on 315-75 r16 tries and aluminum rims - tires worn but all hold air

parts i have replaced. sense i purchased this truck back in 2012

• radiator
• water pump
• hoses
• rear brakes in 2013
• front axle assembly was replaced with rebuild in june 2014 ( again was told it was new and ready) seals have been replaced - the plastic piece between the axle and shaft coupler was replaced. 3:55 gears
• along with both hubs. rotors, ads, alipers and hoses
• 4x4 has a manual shifter for actuator
• has cold air intake added
• head light lenses

i drove the truck twice a week until it broke
i have some spare parts to go with it.

• spare rear with 4:10 gears and a locker - purchased this from a private seller and never put under truck
• new water pump
• spare axle parts
• original transfer case from the truck
• and some other misc stuff

buyer is responsible for removing truck from my yard. i live 20 mins south of Daytona beach Floridia

I know of 2 accidents in this truck. the first one was in 2010 when it rear ended anther pick up truck. only damaged was grill n front bumper.
the other was 2013 - again only minor front end damage - grill in front bumper was replaced
