1986 Chevrolet C/K 10 Fleetside 4x4
Very nice example of what a third generation GM 4X4 long bed pick up truck that has aged extremely well and falls into the category of collectible due to its well preserved condition. Finished in a fresh repaint of Bright Red and original red interior, his truck amazingly has an original bed, ever resprayed or rhino-lined as many have fallen victim to.
She is powered by a fresh V8 383 stroker and working cold A/C. Nice enough to drive to the local car shows and events yet reliable enough to use as your daily driver. If you have been looking for an honest, eliable and well cared for C/K this truck will not disappoint. I would rank this truck in the top 10%. Please view the photographs as they can attest tho this trucks condition. If you have any questions or need additional specific photographs please don't hesitate to ask away, ince what is important to you may be different then us. We have driven this truck on 90+ degree warm days and she idled in some serious traffic and she didn't get the least bit warm. Very rarely do I stumble across a truck that was used sparingly during its life and still retains a nice well cared for vibe... so many classic trucks have been run into the ground and in need of a total restoration. This truck will impress you from start to finish!
We were told this truck has been one family owned and I believe it. Check out how nice the engine bay is and how well the 383 Stroker motor looks in there. I truly think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer truck at this price point.
This third generation (1973-1987) General Motors truck featured an all new clean sheet redesign . This redesign was revolutionary in appearance at the time, articularly the cab, eparting from typical American pickup truck designs of the era. Aside from being near twins, he Chevrolet and GMC pickups looked like nothing else on the road. The third-generation trucks are officially known as the "Rounded-Line" generation.
