1999.5 Volkswagen Golf TDI Hatchback 2-Door 1.9L

1999.5 VW Golf TDI.

This was my son’s vehicle.

Needs work, hich I was going to do but an out of state move, s forcing me to sell.

Approximately 353K on it, ot exact because the battery is dead.

Timing belt done about 70k ago

New Turbo & intake and oil pan about 2k ago

Transmission replaced about 5k ago, as a rebuilt.

Breaks done 10k ago

Front struts 4k ago

Vehicle is NOT running now & battery is dead …

I haven’t had the time to look at it but my son brought it to a shop and they put an electric fuel pump on the vehicle, ee engine pick.

I’m guessing they had no idea what they were doing and it needs a new injection pump. I’ve researched a rebuilt pump and found them for around $450

It has no radio but all proper cables are there and not cut.

The headliner is sagging, ee pick

The door panel cloth is coming undone. I think typical for these V-dubs.

Interior seats and carpet could use a cleaning.

There is one hole in drivers seat and one in rear seat.

There are cables on the floor where my son had one of those kickers in the trunk.

The original steel rims and hubcaps will also go with the car … but the tires are bald.

Tires on the car now have about 20k miles on them. Curb rash on two of the rims.

Exterior has a few scuffs/dings and the clear coat on the hood has peeled.

There is absolutely no rust on this car

Car is being sold as is with no warranty.

It will need to be towed … No you cannot fix it in my driveway.
